As a prisoner of the fearful troll Stone Heart, a young boy has to call upon all of his resourcefulness and imagination to avoid being devoured by the monster. According to the imposing library that adorns his lair, the creature loves stories, so Pépin Pern seizes the opportunity to survive another day, and then another, by telling him a tale each night.
